S’more Birthday SC238

Hello :-)

In the spirit of camping, I made a S’mores card for my Hubby’s birthday.  We love making s’mores when we camp…graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate…you know.  However, he totally didn’t get it!  He didn’t’ know the background looks like a graham cracker and that is a bite out of the corner!  Is it obvious or just me??

Tim's bday 2009 SC238 (Large)

For the graham cracker bg, I used the CB Swiss Dots embossing folder and Scor-Pal.  The bite was taken out using my Scalloped Circle Nestabilities.  The images (SU! Under the Stars) are stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copics then cut out and glued to WW CS.  They are on dimensionals, the s’mores being the highest.  The sentiment is from Gina K Design’s Happy Camper set.

This sketch is SC238:

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. this is a great use of this set!! didn’t know it came with that sentiment. the graham crackers are very easily identifiable. men don’t get the most obvious stuff most of the time, so don’t be offended!

  2. Was he awake when he looked at it? Just kidding. It must be a guy thing it totally looks like a gramham cracker. I hate when I have to explain my cards to a non-stamper. It looks great and I will be caseing it for sure. My best, Wendy

  3. You rocked this card. I love it. Smores are my favorite and I love how you made the back look like a graham cracker. I almost want to take a bite. Awesome!
