Cone Baby and Sketch Challenge

Happy Sunday :-)

A good friend of mine sent me the cutest baby announcement.  Her married name is Cone, so the announcement featured the “Cone Menu”.  Large Cone and Medium Cone introduced the newest member of their family, Mini Cone.  It was so fun.  On the inside was a picture of their baby girl, Abigail, which looked like a picture straight off an Anne Geddes calendar!  So, for her card I had to embrace the “cone” theme.  I also made her an ivory colored hooded towel with Abby (her baby’s name) embroidered on the hood in pink.  It turned out really cute :-)  Anyway, on with the card…

I made the sentiment in Word on my computer and printed it out, then ran it through my Cuttlebug with an oval Nestabilities.  The ice cream cone stamps are from Stamps Happen Inc.  They are colored with SU! markers and placed on dimensionals.  The background is embossed using my Divine Swirl CB embossing folder.  In an effort to break up all the pink, I placed two brads in the top left corner of the card (to match the cherries).  This sketch is from the Mojo Monday Blog Mojo69.

Have a great week!
