Hi
I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas! We had a good time. My hubby is still recovering from his tonsil and sinus surgery though. He is definitely over the hump now! To his credit, he has been a good patient.
Do you know any engineers? I have a few in my family, so when I stumbled upon this “blueprint” vellum I knew I had to get it. I made this card for my FIL’s birthday (an engineer)
I cut the vellum a tiny bit smaller than a piece of Naturals White CS and glued them together. This is layered over Brocade Blue then Night of Navy, and placed on dimensionals. I used eyelets and wire along the left edge to add some interest. The sentiment is faux metal. I applied about 3 layers of Silver EP to CS and stamped the sentiment in it while it was still warm. I rubbed the hardened sentiment with Black StazOn so it looked aged rather than shiny. The center is a large eyelet with a screw head brad in the center.
Thanks for looking
Lori
