Saturday is here!
We are about to go have some fun today, but I wanted to post real quick before we leave. Today’s card was a little out of my comfort zone. I haven’t done anything with stars before. Flowers I can do, but stars have always seemed intimidating to me. Here it goes…
I chose to use the sketch SC182. It’s a little wild, but I think I like it. This card is very 3-D. The silver layer in the back is flat against the red. Each little square is on a dimensional. The stars are also on dimensionals on top of each square. The large white star is painted chipboard. This is a very heavy, thick card! I embossed the three smaller stars with detail white ep and cut them out. Around the edge I added stitching with my Janome sewing machine. What do you think? Oh, the DP I used is by Creative Imaginagions.
Thanks for stopping by!
