35th Anniversary

Hello :-)

My parents just had their 35th wedding anniversary.  I wanted to make an elegant, girly card for them.  I figured my dad had gotten two cards that same week (Father’s Day and his B-day) that were very manly, so this could be made more girly for my mom :-)

I used pretty in pink, shimmery white and brushed silver.  I used my Birds & Swirls CB embossing folder for the background.  The next layer I used my So Swirly jumbo wheel (inked with pretty in pink) to add swirls to the pink cs.  It is hard to see with the cake and flower on it.  I cut the flower out of some lace ribbon I had by Model Crafts.  Under the flower, I glued two scalloped circles I cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities, added a brad in the center and some ribbon, then attached it with dimensionals.  The cake is stamped with a silver Encore pad, heat set, then colored with my SU! markers.  The cake is also on dimensionals.

Thanks for looking!

Lori
