Hi
I hope you are all ready for Father’s Day. I still have one more card to go! I better get a move on since tomorrow is Father’s Day!
My dad is a John Deere man all the way! I found this patterned paper by Creative Imaginations and I knew I just had to have it for my Dad. June is a busy month for him. He has Father’s Day, Birthday, and Wedding Anniversary all within 10 days!
I don’t use black in cards very often, but I thought I would give it a shot with this card. I used Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge for the sketch. Her challenges are always fun. I cut the focal image out of a piece of patterned paper that was covered with different pictures of John Deere tractors. I used my Marvy Giga Punch to punch it out. It’s hard to embellish guy cards without flowers, butterflies or bows. I thought I would keep it simple by adding black eyelets and black, untied ribbon. I hope Dad likes it
This second card is the card I made for my dad last year for Father’s Day. It’s pretty simple, but I had just gotten into stamping and I was super excited to create this card all by myslef My parents are extremely hard workers and rarely take a day off, hence the sentiment…
Happy last-minute stamping!
Lori
