Father’s Day

Happy Tuesday :-)

I was going through some of my older cards and found some I thought I would post. I will be sharing those, as well as some new creations, over the next few weeks. I always make an extra card for me to keep in my card library. It’s fun to look back every once in awhile and see how my style has changed :-)

I made this card for my DH for Father’s Day last year. He’s an outdoors man through and through. I knew Happy Camper would be a fitting stamp set.

Tim Father's Day 07 (Large)

I used my Cuttlebug to dry emboss the tan layer then inked over it.  If you look at the vertical blue layer under the three squares you can see the edges are distressed.  I wanted to make some elements a little rugged.  The squares are set on dimensionals.  The sentiment was printed off my computer then cut with the round tab punch. I sponged around the tab. I think the plus and minus brads work great for guy cards so I added some to the tab. My ribbon is from Making Memories.

Have a great day!
