Happy Tuesday
I finished my card (this morning)! It’s a great day already We were supposed to have a cloudy, yucky day, but the sun is shining and I see blue sky, Yea! I decided long ago that I am a solar powered person. I have a much better day if I can have some sunshine and blue sky. I am definitely not a night person either. I love to get up early and turn in early at night. Anyway…on to the card:
This is another one of Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenges. I love participating in her sketches. You should try it if you haven’t yet This card is pretty straight forward, just lots of layering. The patterned paper I used is from the Creative Imaginations Anthrology Collection. When I bought it I thought it would make a great wedding card. Well, maybe next time. LOL! As you can see, I used more taffeta ribbon (chocolate chip). I really like it! Also, it’s hard to see this in the photo, but the sentiment is on dimensionals. It was hard for me to use a sentiment for the focal point instead of an image. I think it worked out though. Let me know what you think!
