Hi!
School hasn’t even started yet and I’m already behind! I guess it’s because we are trying to squeeze every bit out of our last few days of summer vacation. What a fun, fast summer!
I hope you have stopped by My Time Made Easy to peek at this week’s color challenge:
I enjoy making shaped cards, so with this challenge I made a juicy red apple for the teacher…
Isn’t it yummy?! I started with MTME’s Back to School digital stamp set. I cropped the apple (in Photoshop Elements 9), sized it close to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, then printed it out. Next, I cut out the apple and traced/cut it onto card stock. Using my nesties, I cut out a bite mark. To make the apple shine, I embossed it with clear embossing powder. I cropped and printed this sentiment from this same digi set. I love how it turned out!
Enjoy your day!
Lori
This is so awesome! I was expecting it to be an SVG. So very clever and I love th EP to make it a polished apple
Just came across you blog searching for back to school digi’s…glad I did!

What a clever stamper you are! This is so adorable! I love the embossing too…such a cool addition! Great job with the colors, too!
Lori, I just love this! I like that you glossed it and added the white for the bite. The spiral wire with the tag is a sweet touch!
