Push Over

Happy Friday!  😀

I hope you’ve had a great week!  Mine has been pretty busy.  I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend visiting my sister and playing golf with my hubby and kids.

Today’s template is called Push Over.  I made this gift set for one of our dear friends in Wyoming.  She LOVES UW Football, so I made this for her birthday.

Push Over Linda Bday 1 (Large)

Wyoming colors are brown and gold.  This set makes me smile.  We love Wyoming!  <3

Push Over Linda Bday 2 (Large)

The template for Push Over fits on one 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of card stock.  It is a great size!

Push Over Linda Bday 3 (Large)

Don’t let the rounded sides scare you!  The template contains score guides, making it EASY to score and assemble.

Push Over Linda Bday 4 (Large)

I love the shape of this box.  It looks impressive, and no one will ever know how easy it was to make! 😉

Push Over Linda Bday 5 (Large)

The digi paper is Academic Hodge Podge.  I changed the colors to brown and gold (love digi).  The embossed dots remind me of the bumpy texture of a football.  I made the sentiment using Adobe Photoshop, then print/cut it using my Silhouette.  The helmet is a shape I have in my Silhouette library.

I played along with Mojo305 today.  It’s a great sketch:

Stop and see what the rest of the DT has been up to this week.  Amazing creations!  If you want to see another project using Push Over, stop and see Lauren Meader.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day.

Pocket Change

Hello again :-)

I have another project to share with you today.  This is MTME’s Pocket Change template.  I made this for one of my daughter’s birthday.  She’s about to turn 9!

Pocket Change Carli bday 1 (Large)

This cute little purse measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 3 X 2 1/2 inches wide.

Pocket Change Carli bday 2 (Large)

I made the flower using the Rolled Bloom Scalloped cut file.

Pocket Change Carli bday 3 (Large)

I love the dimension of rolled flowers!  So pretty.  I changed the color in the Zebra Purse Patterns digi paper and printed it off for my project.

Pocket Change Carli bday 4 (Large)

My image and sentiment is in our Timed Write stamp set.  This set has many sentiments to choose from.  Definitely a great one to have!

Snowflake Wreath

1 Thought

Happy Wednesday!!

I hope you are having a great week so far!  Besides some technical issues with one of my crafting programs, this week is good 😀

Another amazing NEW template, just released October 1, is Wreath of Wishes.  I used it to make a wreath that I just love.  You can’t go wrong with red, white, and snowflakes during the Holidays!

h2 wreath 1 (Large)

The snowflake digital cardstock I used is in our NEW Homemade Holiday Papers pack.

h2 wreath 2 (Large)

The sketch I used for this card is Mojo Monday 261.  You can find my snowflake in MTME‘s It’s Snowing cut file.  The sentiment is part of our Dashing Through the Snow stamp set.

h2 wreath 3 (Large)

I cut out the “h2” with my Silhouette using a Curlz MT font.  A friend wears a necklace with an “h2” on it (symbolizing her initials), so I thought I’d make this for her.

h2 wreath 4 (Large)

Isn’t it amazing how great this ribbon matches?!  I found it at Costco!

Have a great day!

Happy Sunday!

I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!  Yesterday was my hubby’s birthday; we had a great {busy} day.  We spent our morning golfing, which was fun, as long as we stayed ahead of those grumpy old men who hate to see women and children on the golf course!  Afterwards, I made him an awesome Oreo cake I found HERE.  We had delish Chicken Caeser Salads for dinner, ate cake, then started a fire in our fire pit and roasted some MEGA marshmallows (say sugar OVERLOAD!) with my Inlaws.  Whew!  Guess what though…I did’t get his birthday card made!  I know!  Shameful!  😉  I’m going with “better late than never”!

Are you ready for another great MTMEPPC?  Here it is!

MTMEPPC19

Our friends just bought a new house, so I made a card for them.  Inside I typed “Congrats on  your new digs!”.

MTMEPPC19 House (Large)

I have to admit, these colors were challenging for me!  It’s good for me to go outside my comfort zone, but it’s painful 😉  This cute little house was fun to play with!  It’s from My Time Made Easy’s Sign It digi set.

Hello!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  I’m a little behind on posting…we have been camping on the mountain.  FUN!

This week’s My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge is a good one!

Here’s my card:
MTMEPPC18 Rose (Large)

I love the flowers!  Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever met a flower I didn’t love 😉  This one is MTME’s Rambling Rose.  I cut them using my Cricut then sponged the edges in Night of Navy ink.  I didn’t want a rose, so I layered them like this.  Fun, huh!

Good Morning!

Are you ready for another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge??  Here it is:

MTMEPPC17

I love this color combo, but have never thought to use it before!!  I used it to create a baby card.

MTMEPPC17 Heaven Sent (Large)

Bringing Home Baby is such a cute set.  I just love the stork!  I colored her, and the frame, in Photoshop Elements.  The background is embossed using CB’s Argyle folder.

This sketch is from Mojo Monday:

Happy Sunday!!

I hope you are having a great 4th of July weekend!!  We are looking forward to the fireworks show Monday.  The kids make holidays so fun.  Their excitement is contagious!!  In spirit of Independence Day, My Time Made Easy’s Pretty Palette Challenge this week is, you guessed it, red, white and blue!

MTMEPPC16

I wanted to make something fun and representative of Independence Day, so I made this…

MTMEPPC16 Red White and Cute (Large)

MTMEPPC16 Red White and Cute b (Large)

This butterfly is from My Time Made Easy’s All A Flutter digi stamp set.  I customized Stars for Students and Picket Fence digi papers by changing their colors in Photoshop Elements for the butterfly and background.  Once the papers were colored, I clipped them with the shapes of the butterfly wings.  I played with it for awhile before I got what I wanted, but persistence paid off!  I love it!  Once printed, I hand cut it and added rhinestones on the corners of the wings. Isn’t it pretty and patriotic?!

I saw this sentiment on a little girl’s shirt and thought it would work great here, so I typed it up and printed it out.

Be sure to check out the rest of the MTME Pretty Palette Team’s creations!!

I hope you play along with us this week!

Have a fun and safe 4th of July weekend!!
