Baby Shower Cupcakes!

18 Thoughts

Good Morning :-)

It’s Thursday!!  This is the last day of swimming lessons for the week!  Hopefully camping is in store for the weekend!

Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge at SCS (WT278) is to use yellow…any kind of yellow.  My project is absolutely AdOrAbLe!!  You probably already know that I love cupcakes, so this won’t surprise you…

Baby Shower {sock} Cupcakes (boy or girl)!!!

Aren’t they cute?!  Ok, if you’re wondering where the stamping is, look at the cupcake wrappers under the cupcakes.  I stamped the white wrappers with yellow or green polka dots.  The dots match the ribbon on each cupcake.  Mmmm, delish!

These will accompany a diaper cake on the main table at the baby shower (mom’s not sure what she’s having).  Isn’t this a fun, practical decoration?  They are made out of baby socks!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi :-)

Gee, this is the third post this week!  June is my BUSY month for cards.  I love it!  :-)  My sister just had a birthday too, so I’ll show you her card soon!

Today’s card project is actually a teacher end-of-year gift.  I drew some (not so traditional) inspiration from the {Cupcake Inspirations} challenge 65.  I used red, white & blue (plus some green!).

Now for my take…

How about that apple?  Isn’t it delish!  I cut it out using my Cricut Home Accents Cartridge then covered it with VersaMark and embossed it with clear ep twice.  Check out the WT276 challenge at SCS.  It’s an embossing challenge!!

So, this is a book full of goodies for the teacher (who is also
crafty).  Inside the front cover is a friendly letter my daughter wrote to her teacher.  I wrote a fun poem to correspond with each gift on each page.  On the last page is a picture of my daughter with her teacher.
Here are some views of the pages:
