Hi!

Happy Father’s Day to all those dads and grandpas out there!!  We are blessed to have such great men in our lives, so it’s fun to celebrate them.  My hubby is competing in a shooting competition this weekend, having a fantastic time!!

It’s time for another MTME Pretty Palette Challenge!  I love, love this color combo!!

I really had fun with this color combo and a new fav stamp set of mine…Bold Botanicals from My Time Made Easy (MTME).

With an image this beatiful, my card didn’t need many layers or frills.  I love the sentiment too.  The image is digital, so I colored it in PSE, printed onto WW cs, then cut it out with oval nesties.  I embossed the pink layers with my CB Divine Swirls embossing folder.

It’s the weekend!  Finally :-)

I made this card a while ago, and find myself needing it more and more!  I can’t seem to keep up :-)

This image is All Bummed Out Baby from Bella Stamps.  Isn’t it cute?!  I colored him using Copics.  The flap on his tush is paper pieced.  I glued tiny pieces of embroidery floss to his head for hair.  The sentiment was created and printed using Word, then punched with my SU! Modern Label Punch.  The inside is stamped “I just wanted to give you a reason to celebrate a little longer!  Happy Belated Birthday”  from SU! On Your Birthday set.

Hello :-)

Today’s card is a three-fer, which I’m pretty sure isn’t even a word!  Anyway…it is my mom’s birthday card, as well as a sketch and an inspiration challenge.  I love the way it turned out:

mom 55 bday (Large)

The DP is called Delightful by Mindy Terasawa.  Isn’t it pretty?  I think the flowers from SU!’s A Beautiful Thing stamp set almost (kinda-sorta) match.  I stamped them in white craft ink on Taken with Teal cs then embossed them with detail white ep.  They needed a little extra sparkle, so I put dark, sparkly dots on them using cinnamon stickles.  The circles were cut using circle nestabilities, then embossed with the CB Birds and Swirls ef.  I used SU! markers to color the sentiment stamp before stamping for a little variety in color.

Wish Big House Mouse & sketch

I have a really cute House Mouse stamp, Make a Wish, that I used on today’s card.  I typed the sentiment “Wish Big” on my computer, printed it out on cardstock, then punched it with my McGill Word Tags Punch.  Here it is:

The only mice I can even get close to are House Mouse ones!!  I think they are adorable.  I colored the image with Copics.  This card is pretty clear cut, but it’s impossible to see the dimension.  The blue on blue layer under the mice is popped up.  I don’t think I can make a card without using dimensionals!!

Hello Wednesday!

I have another Cricut card to show you.  The only stamps I used were puppy footprints on the inside of my card!  Can you believe it??  I L-O-V-E my Cricut :-)

Paxton Baby SFYTT (Large)

Isn’t the puppy super cute?!  I used the Animal Kingdom cartridge for the puppy and the Campout cartridge for the footprints.  The sentiment and birth info were made using Word on my computer, then printed on Very Vanilla card stock.  Everything (almost) is on dimensionals.  You can see the dimensions better from the side:
